Teacher jailed for sex with pupil

it is an issue of trust..it's much like the doctors that take advantage of their patient...there is confidentiality, trust, etc. breached when things like this occur, and for a TEACHER to do something like this, she should be labeled a sex offender. Like I said before, she may not have intended to "target" a minor, but she did and add to that a STUDENT, her STUDENT.

Honestly, if they were really in love, the teacher should have cut off PROFESSIONAL connections to the student....either move schools or have the student change teachers. that would have looked ALOT better.

It also is even more screwed up because the parents were paying though the nose to have the teacher messing around with their daughter. Like £13,000 ($21k) a year for this 'privilege'...

That's why we have legal age requirements for pretty much everything. A 15 year old's brain isn't even fully developed yet.

My point is that a 15 year old is not capable of making a decision such as this. They lack complete information and mental capacity.

So we figured out consultant is an ageist.

Show SOME respect consultant, teenagers aren't mentally challenged.

And don't confuse biology/neuroscience and law.

The legal ages for various activities are wise, but not inexorably linked to science. Drinking, driving, and enlistment ages were set before MRIs and brain scans ever existed.
