Bill to end Acorn funding....will stop funding to others as well

Let me repost what was said, and how I answered with my example,...... because it seems some people have a hard time with context, because "fed funding" had nothing to do with what I was talking about.

The president of ACORN was trying to get tax breaks for whores?

There are NRA members helping gangbangers run guns everyday, but nobody is blaming all of the NRA for conspiring to distribute guns illegally. No, it is the individuals that are responsible.

Those couple of people in the Bush administration doing "naughty things", were a lot higher up the food chain, than a couple tax preparers for ACORN in a corner office in some strip mall in Baltimore.......... So there is no comparison between Scooter/Karl/Monica Goodling (who were within reach of the president's ear, and made decisions in the President's name) and a couple tax preparers in an strip mall ACORN office.......... Nice try though.

But my point in the comparison is regarding those voicing how ACORN is such a horrible organization and that they were in cahoots with those doing wrong. And that is not the case, that is why I posed the example, federal funding had nothing to do with culpability.

ACORN is not a horrible organization. But they are not well managed IMHO.
They have made themselves an easy target because they have not managed their PR very well.
They appeared to take sides in the election, then get a lot of money when their guy won.
It was only a matter of time before the witch hunters came after them.

Thats just 2. Look it up. He wasn't making the statement that anyone taking fed funds is corrupt just that ACORN is.

I read it more from the other part, by saying Acorn gets "free money" thus the whole organization is corrupt, makes it sound like then that anyone who gets free money=corrupt.

I'm guessing though, since Glen Beck didn't talk about it, you believe we should still give Lockheed money even though they've been misusing government money?

Well Hawgy I still haven't heard from you what "Model Citizens" the Rathke brothers are ! Just face the fact that getting govt money is their Main objective and laundering it to their Many other organizations is just the tip of the Iceberg. I still haven't seen Acorn open their books either.
