Definition: An award of financial assistance in the form of money by the federal government to an eligible grantee with no expectation that the funds will be paid back.

You want to give your opinion on something thats fine i have no problem with that. You want to tell someone else their opinion is wrong because you don't agree with it. Well sorry your not as smart as i thought you were then and no where near as smart as you think you are.

Do your self a favor give your opinion. Debate it as much as you like thats what all of this stuff is for so everyone can share their opinion on the topic at hand. Keep your insulting remarks to your self on how others are wrong because there is no wrong answer just varring opinions.

Grants aren't free either. Peoplaework for grants and there are stipulations needed to be met in order to qualify for such grants, stuff like, ......... oh I don't know...... maybe assisting those that need help navigating through bureaucratic red tape, or helping pay the gas bill in January, or getting out the vote drives, or any of the other things that were on your list.

Just because the recipient doesn't pay back the grant, doesn't make it free. There are requirements needed to be fulfilled that comes along with that money.

Soy, do you receive grants without any requirements attached to those funds? Do you as someone who has solicited and received grants, think that they are "free money"? Is there anything "free" about them?
