saudis have different reasons for not wanting iran to have nuclear weapons than the rest of the world. now i don't condone the building of nuclear weapons, i don't think ANY country should have them, but denying iran the right to nuclear energy because of the rantings of one powerless man, is absurd. it's only a small pocket of extremists in iran who have a problem with israel. iran and israel actually worked together in the past (before the revolution) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Flower AND iran has one of the biggest jewish populations out of any muslim country.

basically, what i'm trying to say is, the general population of iran doesn't have a problem with israel. the government wouldn't DARE shoot a nuclear missile, because it wouldn't have the backing of the people. if they did, not only would iran get bombed to shit, their own people who revolt against them. it's a lose-lose situation for iran if they ever launch a missile.

^^^^ I'm sure you are absolutely right about the Saudi's having their own reasons. I'm sure the Egyptians,Jordanians,and everyone else in the area do as well. All of the countries in the Mid East have never really been all on the same page.

I wouldn't say that Ahkmadinnerjackass is powerless though. He,along with the Imams control Iran with an iron fist. They are nuts. I feel sorry for the everyday Joes that have no choice but to live there. If something were to happen,they are the ones who would pay the price.
