you want en example? he couldn't do something so simple as to let women into soccer stadiums. the mullahs overruled him. everything he does has to be ok'ed by the mullahs, hence, he is powerless.

yes, that happened before the revolution. i was trying to show that they didn't have a problem with israel before the revolution. what changed since then? nothing, only the government. people don't suddenly hate israelis because an extremist group in the government does.

I think we have all (or at least many) have agreed, the issue is with the government, not the people. And the problem is the small extremist group controls the government. So then why dont we talk to the mullahs the control his strings? I am asking an honest question here. The best way to solve a problem is to go to the source.

I also doubt that anyone in the area wants Iran to have any sort of button to push. The Saudi's just proved this....

because as serious as the last revolt was, if they ever launched a nuclear warhead, they would effectively invite destruction upon the country. that would definitely be the last straw for the iranien people.

Iranians are Persians, not Arabs. I do not think Saudi Arabia is too keen on having a nuclear armed Iran. It is probably just as big of a security concern to them as it is to Israel.
