Somebody in the medical field, HELP!
Ok, I started working at Genghis Grill recently and on Sunday I got to work on the actual grill. When I got home that night, I felt a soreness behind my right eye. Now about 3 days later, my lower eyelid has begun to swell.
It hurts to touch and when I blink or close my eyes. I don't know what caused it but if it has to do with my work I would like to know.
Please help if you have any idea whatsoever could be the cause.

Did anything fly into your eye while you were grilling?
Looks to me like an infection, most likely a stye

It should drain on its own in a few days but applying warm compression should speed it up

Re: Somebody in the medical field, HELP!
Look like a sty or pink eye to me. Any trouble with your vision? If so then you are straining your eyes and it is probably a sty. Pink eye is more of a bacterial thing. Either way if it does not improve I would go see a doc. You only have one spare eye lol.
