I don't think humans will die off if our world can get out into space and "colonize" another planet. For example, we we can live on Mars, eventually, we'll get the correct technology to move out into space, and colonize other solar systems. It'll be a long process, but it isn't impossible. But if we don't get our shit together, then we are either going to die from population and the death of our world, or Wars, or if givin enough time, aliens. I am sure other forms of life are out there somewhere, and I am sure that they can get here, with the amount of shit our planet is doing. sending probes into space, broadcasting out location, ect.
