I remember the day I found this server...

The Steam icon on my desktop hadnt been clicked in like 9 months and I loaded up CS:S out of some sort of nostalgia and entered a random server...it was full of screaming teenagers, campers, stat whores and Rambo wannabes.

I hit escape and almost shut the game down, probably for ever, when I had a thought...

I searched for a server in Q-Tracker and entered "Team Play" - - - - - A few seconds later a single server came up and it Texas ...Teamplayers...

The rest is history. I said it then and I'll say it again, this server is pretty much the only reason I still play CS:S. It represents, what I believe is, the true intentions of the developers when they envision people playing their game.

Thanks to all the DEDICATED admins and moderators who make this place what it is.

I remember the first time i played on this server...... i got kicked, for not joining a squad. Of course my first reaction was "WTF?". Then i thought about it, and it hit me, what kind of a server (community) would kick some one for not participating in a productive team based way!?!?!
MY KIND OF SERVER. This cummunity is a far cry better than any i have played on in the past, TFC, Americas Army, CS, BF2, none come close to the caliber of Play and Player to be found here!! Please keep up the good work!!!

For me, TTP is not just a gaming server... Hell, I haven't played on ANY OTHER SERVER since the first day I played on TTP; April 06'... TTP IS MY HOME... The following reasons are why I call TTP my home...

1) TTP IS NOT A DICTATORSHIP... No ONE person controls TTP... There is an ADMIN COMMUNITY that exists that votes on every single topic....

2) TTP IS FAIR... The ADMIN COMMUNITY votes on EVERY action that TTP takes... It takes a majority of the leadership, the ADMIN COMMUNITY, to act on any one circumstance; and believe me when I say that there are alot of "situations" that arise in this community...

3) If ANYONE, including high admins, has an issue with 1 player, then that issue is resolved via a majority vote by OUR ADMIN COMMUNITY... You will never find that in ANY OTHER SERVER YOU PLAY ON...

4) TTP holds it's truths to the letter... TEXAS "TEAM PLAYERS"... If you are not a teamplayer, then pack your bags or WE will do it for you...

5) TTP IS FAIR (again)... Even if you break the rules, TTP will always give you a chance to make it right... If you aren't worthy or don't try, we will pack your bags for you and send you on your way...

6) TTP IS AN IDEALISTIC SERVER... When you join the server, you had better respect, learn, and LIVE by our rules... If you don't, then we will meat you in the banned forums and help you to understand why you are there!!!

7) THERE IS ONLY 1 TTP... Try to find a better server... Try to find a place where everyone is respected, or treated with respect... IT DOESN'T EXISTS...

I must say that I give this server my highest praise... I can remember I searched texas, and when I saw teamplay I decided to try it... I remember getting on Bird's squad just about every time I could... and finally about a month later I discovered the other half of TTP, the site. Any time I've asked for anything... no matter if it was tech support (TTP tech support beats the hell out of EA

), game tips, problems on the server with non teamplayers, or absoultely anything.. I've gotten all the help I've needed and more...

I was given a second chance and am grateful for it. I just didnt read the rules and paid the consequence.

My avatar still says banned though, I presume that is being sorted out by people in charge of such things.

Yeah, be glad we have TTP. It won't get any better than this. This is the teamplayers home. Mamma said, never talk to strangers, that's why I feel bad when entering any other server, than Texas ...TeamPlayers... It's madness out there. Try join another server (especially a European one) and compare it to TTP. FullContactWar blows. They say they all down with teamwork, but do they have the teamwork? No way. It's kind of like Mafia; Lost Heaven. TTP are Don Sallieri, FCW are Morello and his gang. I see it that way. All the other servers, and I mean ALL the other servers, are just trash. Simply a huge load of trash.

You're the best. And I'm proud of being a small part of it.
