Our Position on Other Places You Play

We are not naive enough to think we can control where you play - other than TTP - nor do we wish to limit any TTP members on their freedom to choose web communities to associate with.

That's not the American way - not the Texas way, and certainly not TTP's way......

We do, however, generate a lot of hate with our team based fanaticism - specifically:
Our focus on the group over the individual
Our focus on the team or community over the clan
Our focus on the votes over feelings

It's interesting to me that those few belief's and principals also generate our most loyal supporters - and are why (I feel) we have been so successful.

Each one of you has a voice - and an opinion that we value - if you didn't, you wouldn't be here - reading this now.

You have the ability to explore this organizations root's, belief structure, and operational system.

Hopefully by now you know that TTP is not run by me, or bigdog, or you or your clan - or Santa Claus.

TTP's beliefs - are quite frankly - bigger than all of us put together and are a sum of our admin communities, resident clans and individuals crossed with our hardware and technical abilities.....

When we vote, when we speak our minds - when we have our say, we fuel that system that drives us - no matter the position we take.

The ability to disagree with TTP positions, and the freedom to discuss the things disagreed on are part of why this community attracts so many members - and is one of the cornerstones to the foundation of TTP.

The line between simply disagreeing about a particular policy - and a persons/groups disagreement driving them to inflict pain/damage on the community is a clear one.

We truly believe what we are doing here is more than just a CS community, or a DOD community, or a BF2 community or a 2142 community - it's a way of thinking, a way of "life" that is a polar opposite to the gaming community as a whole, which is afflicted with selfish, statpadding, angry, individualistic gamers.

We will continue to stand by our belief's, our ideals, and our absolute focus on teamplay - this means, those that apply themselves to helping our opposition, or members assisting those that wish only to inflict damage on us - will continue to be seen as the threat they are - and will be dealt with accordingly - - (banning-suspension etc...)

What you can do to help - and all we really need from each and every member of TTP to keep succeeding is to continue to play as a team, continue to focus on the group, continue to work together and resist the temptation to be a stat padding/one sided/individual focused online gamer.

Lead by example every day - build on our success.

See thats what im talking bout right there!! That was so well put. I just use alot of curse words when i go off. This is like a family. Those in it share a special thing that not everyone out there does. We are all in this together. I agree with every word you said sj. If people want to be heard about an issue then express it in a TTP fashion, dont be lame and start sounding like someone who basically is just findaing a way to make """PLEASE!! BAN ME!!"" sound like somehting else. It's all about respect, and teamplay. Speaking of which.....

As many have said TTP was founded to get away from the bullshit of the other servers. I don't care were you go there is No other place like TTP. TTP is successful because we don't take the bull shit.

TTP's values are like the 10 commandments of online gaming. We are like a light in a dark room others try to mimic us by lighting a match but in the end it just goes out. There is no other TTP.

Serious now.....sjt is right. We all know why this post is here. And....the great thing is....we're actually HOPING it pisses those of you off enough to think you leaving hurts us in anyway. By all means, stand up and be counted. Stick it to us, show us who's the boss, show us your "gaming independence". Show us you'll do what you want, when you want.

And then let us show you that you are full of shit.

You won't do what you want, when you want, here. You will do what the community wants. You will do what the server rules dictate to you.

You will follow the leader, or you will be the leader.

TTP has reached a point now where it can pick and choose it's regulars. It's not about the resident clans, it's not about the reservists and regulars. We have non-admin, non-reservist, non-resident clan players that have more hours, even more posts than some of our most influential admins, clan leaders, and mods.

The good thing about situations as we have now, is that it riles up the slackers and anarchists, and gets them all into one, big, "down with TTP" chanting frenzy. Complete with IP addresses, email addresses, steamID's.

I'm not going to say that we LIKE cleaning out the trash.....but I certainly will say it's about time some of it left. Picking up the pieces won't even take more than a few button clicks here and there. Entire posting histories, months, if not years of respect, gone.

Oh yeah.....you can do what you want, when you want, how you want...

unless of course, any part of that sentence has the words "TTP" in it. Then, you'll do what your told, or you'll start telling people how it's going to be done. But you, as an individual gamer, are dead in TTP.

Like I've said in some private forums, I'll say again here:

You can either play ball with TTP, and gain respect....even power.

Or, you can play hard ball with TTP, and then.....you can find out who owns the park, the bat, your shoes, the lights, the entire game.

Play with us, or fuck off.

I'm here to play ball with the TexasTeamplayers......sometimes people just don't make the cut......Thats the others.......If you want to be the best, you play with the best,,,,,If you want people to see you as the best, it starts with Character. We are here for the community and not for ourselves.....We work as a Team, not and individual.......We do to help everyone on the Team....

Just because somebody likes us, doesn't mean they belong here and nobody has a guaranteed non-revocable spot....

You break the rules, deal with the punishment,,,,,,Don't like it, The door you came in, lets you right back out.....

This is OUR community, it belongs to the TexasTeamplayers...
