Re: Dystonia from a Flu Shot?
Meh I never take Flu shots, I always get the flu, lay in bed for two or three days and go back to life. Its just not a big deal for me at this time.

Re: Dystonia from a Flu Shot?
I never get the flu, but I usually get one bad cold a year. No fever or anything, just blehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. If they made a shot for that, bring it on! I think work might be doing flu shots cheap, though, so I need to get in on that. I'll let you all know if it turns me into a zombie or something (kidding, flu shots don't give you weird diseases, they keep America healthier, get one today).

Re: Dystonia from a Flu Shot?
it's basically a shot in the dark. The influenza strains are consistently evolving, so the picks of the litter included in the vaccine, may not even be the strain you get exposed to.
And you can request the vaccines without the thimerosal, i know my father specifically orders all his flu vaccines to be preservative free. He actually just sent his swine flu vaccines back because they sent him the ones with preservatives (thimerosal). Most offices carry both.
