Does the guy in the video not understand the concept of the passage of time?

The Nintendo Zapper worked fine, but obviously after 20+ years ...it's not going to work as good as it did when it was brand new.

Yeah it is all meant for a laugh and a look back more than a legit review, though some of his vids do remind me how much some of those games sucked. I could never land on top gun either....
