When are you to going to just admit broke is broke. There are no advantages to any race when in poverty. I guess im done with this thread you have no point to make other than there are poor black people in this country and you have no idea how to help them.

Yes it is basic math, 24.3% is a HELL of a lot higher than 8.2% so what is your point? That there are more actual white people in poverty? True, but its a much smaller segment of our total population, that is how statistics work. You don't look at total numbers because it gives a false impression of the rate.

Thanks for the statistics class but if you notice i'm the one that did the post. Pretty sure i got it.

edit: While i'm at it i might as well point out that it seems to be completely irrevant to you guys that the white poverty level is 50% of the total black popualtion in this country. I guess that just me trying to figure out those math things again.

And like I said before, if you can't understand how that isn't at all what I'm saying then I think we should all be done with this thread.

That was more for forezer. He's the one that keeps saying blacks in poverty have it worse than whites in poverty.

We are not comparing our poverty level to other countries. We are discussing poverty in the U.S. But even the facts you are showing support what I have been saying for a while now. Blacks have higher rates of poverty and make far less than whites. So, again, the idea that everyone has equal opportunities and equal chances is false, and you just helped to disprove that.

Explain why blacks being poor is more difficult than whites being poor. From my exsperience poor is poor no matter what color. So i'm curious as to your theory behind how skin color makes a difference.

We can let the other one go we already know we don't agree on it. For the record i do understand what your saying. I simply do not agree with it.
