He doesnt get my vote, because because I feel strongly that Jordan Shipley is more of a reason for the success of Texas. Ingram ran all over the SEC with an inexperienced QB. Ingram gets my vote.


Not to mention, McCoy played terribly in a big game against a great defense. His numbers look great because of terrible defenses.

Not that I support McCoy, because I don't, but if you're gonna bash McCoy for playing badly in a big game, you can't just support Ingram then. Remember two weeks ago? 16 carries for 30 yards against Auburn? Yeah, he played terribly in a big game too. He made up for it yesterday, but if we're gonna look at bad games, lets not forget that one.

Gerhart's only bad game was @Wake Forest

McCoy's were: Vs. TTU, vs. Oklahoma, and against Nebraska. Though had a few games i wouldn't say were top notch.

Now while Gerhart SHOULD win it, i'll bet he won't because of the perceived "SEC is GOD141241241234241241251!!$$!@$$14124" media crap.

I could argue that you have the "OMG SEC sucks PAC-10 is underrated" mentality, which describes your reasoning for choosing Gerhart over Ingram....I doubt that is the issue here, but to most it may seem that way.

Tebow, he's an amazing leader and I don't see the Gators eing the same team without him. He's always been inspirational and uplifting to his team mates. And, the jump pass was always awesome.

The Heisman Memorial Trophy Award (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or the Heisman), named after the former college football coach John Heisman, is awarded annually by the Heisman Trophy Trust to the most outstanding player in collegiate football.

This award is not an MVP award (Most Valuable Player). This award is not based on the record of a team (or at least it shouldn't be).

If it was an MVP award, then I would have to say Tebow, simply because he is the most valuable players to his team out of the nominees. But since the award is soley for being an outstanding player, you'd have to give it to Ingram or Gerhart.
