    Al Gore - Poet

I finally composed myself enough and wiped the tears from my eyes long enough to post this.

    Your thoughts?

You know...Neptune's bones are dissolving and the horsemen are readying their stirrups.

    must.......not..........laugh at work.

    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

    Here is our tool......Captain Planet.

And people wonder why there are sooo many "deniers" with that douchebag as the spokesman. Movie filled with lies, ridiculous dooms-day prophecies, and now a lame ass poem from a lame ass guy who is perched to make billions off of playing on the fears of the gullible. Priceless....

If BHO can win the Nobel, might as well name Captain Planet Poet Laureate.

This isnt about the science of climate change - it is about a ridiculous man saying ridiculous things.

What kills me even more is the fact that in his legion of support staff, nobody told him that reading this poem would be a bad idea. It just makes him look silly!

For those who can't watch the video

    One thin September soon

    A floating continent disappears

    In midnight sun

    Vapors rise as

Fever settles on an acid sea

    Neptune's bones dissolve

    Snow glides from the mountain

Ice fathers floods for a season

    A hard rain comes quickly

    Then dirt is parched

Kindling is placed in the forest

    For the lightning's celebration

    Unknown creatures

    Take their leave, unmourned

    Horsemen ready their stirrups

    Passion seeks heroes and friends

    The bell of the city

    On the hill is rung

    The shepherd cries

The hour of choosing has arrived

    Here are your tools

He must have the same kind of supporters that the first-round American Idol contestants have.

Oh.....that was great! ....You should do this in public on the biggest venue you can find. :P

I've read the poem over and over again. And really it doesn't make any sense. He just discribed Waterworld, Mad Max, The Day After Tomorrow, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and the four horsemen.

I had no idea Al Gore was really a 14-year old emo girl trapped in a 60-year old man's body. I guess the suit is worn to hide the razor scars?
