Wow....I could see if it was a private HS or something, but to segregate a 4yo is ridiculous. And -1 man card for the Dad....don't tell people you have no control over your 4yo....tell them their rule is fucked and YOU refuse to cut his hair.

Ok, I'll play.....
You have a pistol in Texas, you want to carry it in to the Toys R Us, signs say no go, do you do it anyway? It doesn't bother anyone else.
Signs at gas pumps say no smoking while operating the pump. It usually not a problem, so that makes it ok since other people do it?
Speed limit down the Natchez Trace, 444 mile long national park, is 50mph. So 70 is justifiable since the park is so damn long and its a nice shortcut from Nashville, Tennessee into Lousisana across Mississippi.
You want to walk around your house naked. Fine. Who cares that you leave your blinds open, your neighbors can deal with it since you're not bothered.
You want to bunny hop on your favorite game. It doesn't bother anyone else.
If you already know the rules and you don't like it, find somewhere that does let you do it as you like. If the parents don't agree with the school district, they can home school. That is exactly what my friends in St. Louis had to do. Their kids are deathly allergic to multiple things, but they can not keep the epi-pen in the classroom where they might need it. "All needles and medications MUST be kept in the nurses office." Which could kill their children, so they were forced to adapt.
Today its long hair on boys. Where's the line tomorrow? Microskirts ok for high school girls? Junior high girls? Elementary? Kids making out at school.... again, high school ok? Middle school? 1st graders?
And another thing, if more parents would spend their time parenting instead of trying to be their kid's best friend, this country would be MUCH better served.
