Re: ASVAB scores. What to do?
Seriously doubt anyone here has the list to determine what jobs you qualify for. The recruiter would be the best place to find out. Just dont sign shit until you know what you want. Take a day or week whatever you need to make your decision. If you get a list by all means post it. Between all the military floating around this site you should be able to get a good idea what the job is in reality. Not the recruiter would make it sound way more interesting than it may really be.

not holding anything against any of the direct combat types, if you're going to go for a skill in the military, then by God, get something that isn't easily obtainable somewhere else. i.e. cook, secretary. Use them as a springboard for the part of your life AFTER the military.

and with those scores, I think you'll qualify for a lot more jobs than you expect. If you're not going for a front line combat position, choose a skill that will help you build a career.
And pay attention to what the education benefits are. In Texas, we also have the Hazelwood act that kicks in after you expend your GI Bill.

Yup linguist or intelligence will definitely get you a good job if you want to work for the government in a non military role once you are out, the FBI once tracked friend of mine down who was in intel just to see if he was interested after he got out of the Marines.
If you aren't colorblind and have correctable 20/20 you should be able to choose most things. Think about what you want to do once you are out, but count out the thought of making the military a career.
