    Let's Talk Wine!

Since it seems to be the common topic in the pictures thread I figured I'd start one and see what people think.

I'm a huge red fan, I find that whites at most places are way to chilled and lose any flavor that they may have.

My current favorite is the Rosso Tuscano Super Tuscan. I find it so interesting because it is such a curious wine. It looks and smells like a very full bodied wine, but if you let it open a minute, it is full of flavors and is surprisingly light. It is also a very sedimenty wine, and I find that sediment is always a welcome thing, and kinda marks a great wine (although it obviously isn't desired in certain grape varieties).

I will pretty much drink any red, be it Pinot Noir, Cabernet, Shiraz, Malbec, etc, as long as it is decent, and is tasty. (Not to mention generally under $15)

A few other current favorites would be, the Trivento Malbec, Sketchbook Pinot Noir / Cab, Santa Ema Merlot, just about anything Fat Bastard makes, and the Hope Estate Shiraz "The Ripper" (I believe in Australia 'The Ripper' is the equivalent of 'The Shit' here in the States, but do correct me if I'm wrong).

When it comes to whites I will drink certain Sauvignon Blancs, and some Chards (Santa Ema's Sauvignon is delicious, as is Sonoma's Chard)

Champagne is always welcome, but I do LOVE Veuve if I get to pick, and not pay :P

    Discuss!

No, actually. I mostly drink imported beer, because I'm not a huge fan of domestic beer. Either that or micro-brewery beer if its good. :9

I drink wine alot....I'm not a great connoisseur of them, I just drink what I like...I prefer to drink red wine ... mainly Marques de Caceres or Concha y Toro wines....they're not sweet and not so acidic as many red wines...

have you guys ever tried those?

    Okay then you rawk.

When it comes to beers Chimay, Fat Tire, and Guinness are some of my tops, with Samiclaus as a runner up.

Oh and to whoever posted about Concha y Toro wines, I have tried them, and they are quite yummy.

Fat Tire is definitely up in my top five. Guinness is a great one too.

Ahaha that both sucks / is awesome.

I was at my parents house last year during christmas time and I saw a bottle of Veuve in their liquor cabinet and took it home since they neither knew nor cared about what it was... oh I was in heaven.

I love how everyone get's all uppity Crystal (which is complete overpriced shit btw) when something as wonderful as Veuve exists... well not everyone, but the rap community... I guess I kinda answered my own question there though..
