They do that cause the QB is the weakest link of the team. Without a good QB you cant really play or are severly limited. If they dont protect the daintiest of men then the game will soon just have 2 defensive plays, Blitz and crush the QB, and blitz and crush his replacment.

The calls themselves bother me; but when you make that call AND it takes away a great defensive play by Sharper it makes it worse. They need to change the rules, b/c as it stands they are thinking about making the rules even stricter next year.

Besides, when you score that quickly, especially on defense, you are giving the ball to the opposing team way more than normal. Even still we only allowed 14 points, one TD of which was scored on the very first play. Your Colts are going down Kraker, Manning won't know what hit him.
