Re: Fixing to get slammed
Not to bore you guys - but Jesus Age Christ it has been steady going all night. Dulles Airport is less than 5 miles from my house. They are claiming 18", but I disagree. There is easily 2 feet around my house.
I'm going to put Max's winter clothing on and take him out in it for a minute or two. He is going to throw a fit, but it'll be good for him.

The new ice age has come. The reign of man is ended. My car no longer has wheels, that I can tell.

Up here on the Maryland side of the Potomac, it's still snowing. Got to work yesterday at 7am, probably here until tomorrow at 7am, although I'm tempted to try going home at 5 tonight. At least today I've been on the engine and not the ambulance (although we did have to go out and shovel hydrants).

Its about done here. All said and a little over 2 feet. Ashburn which is about 10 miles away got 30". There have been reports of a Hangar at Dulles collapsing, as well as multiple small buildings like Churches and homes.
There is a mass snowball fight taking place in DC.
And I am not kidding they have what looks like a couple of hundred people down there throwing down. The WJLA reporter tried to cover it and they shifted fire on to him.
I do not foresee going to work on Monday. My area is not equipped to deal with this. Thank god for VPN.
