Turns out that nowadays Rudys Faxes all applications handed in off to a central office that processes them and they have interviewers that call people from there and do interviewing and hiring there, so any kind of face time and first impression I did make on employees and/or the manager didn't make a difference since they don't have a say on the hiring process.

So if you stink, have cooties and scabbies, and pick your nose and a$$ constantly has no impact?

BTW, I ate at Rudy's on Sunday. Brisket was excellent but the Pork tasted like it came from an old boar.

Why the hell would you get the pork? Just stick with the extra moist and perhaps the cutters choice. Any word back yet corpse? And where is their central office?

They never got back to me. I called several times after I called the first time just to make sure I wasn't getting bogus info, but each time they said that the interviewers at the Central Office would call me if my app was selected and there was no way for me to check on the status of my application.

And I rightly can't find any info on the Central Location for Rudy's, the site doesn't have any info on that and I haven't been able to find it in any searches for Rudy's, Rudy's BBQ, Rudys Texas Bar-B-Q, LLC, or anything of the such.

I know my managers would take the app and put a number on it, 1 was hell no, 2 was no, 3 was possibly, and 4 was looks very good; all based on appearance, mannerisms, personality. Then when the store manager got them she reviewed and made her decisions on who to call back in. This was Bill Millers but maybe Rudys does the same, bet you got a 1. He look hungry, he eat all the BBQ! I cant wait to go eat at rudys, love that place.

Just a little heads up as well, you may want to consider a hair cut. It looks a LOT more professional to have it short and clean rather than long and greasy.

I just got my hair cut pretty damn short and my managers have already told me it looks a lot better and definitely is a huge factor on getting promoted.
