damn straight....and what's awesome about it is that they're training in greko roman at school...which aside from helping them on their MMA career, it'll help them for college as well.

Re: The Future of MMA
Yeah I have been thinking about this as well. Trying to figure out how to create a physical regimen for my son that will have him depending on his body early on. With the hope it helps avoid cigarettes, drugs, and eating garbage.
Self defense is the secondary objective, but the fear is that once equipped to kick some serious ass, controlling impulse to use those skills when he is a young teen into his late teens.
A lot of the people I knew with formal boxing training are now in jail, and one is dead. Having the skills to dominate unfortunately put them into positions where they could and would use violence to control the situation. Didn't serve them well in the end.

That's all about discipline man...you don't teach someone to fight unless you teach them to be disciplined...that is, the kids won't become bullies just because they know how to fight (if they're taught discipline).
But it's true what you say, those kids will probably never want to smoke or eat crap food or get wasted every weekend...it's too much work at the gym to sacrifice for a smoke, a beer and a double cheeseburger.

I call this child abuse. Why don't you put your daughters in stripper classes when they're young, so they can be the best strippers ever when they get old enough and make killer dough in college?
