The driver side door wont open anymore.

Ya so iv had problems with the door ever since I got in an accedent but today (after breakfast) it refuses to open. Sometimes if I set there pulling on the handle for 30+ seconds it will open but good fuckin god. Anyone know how difficult it is to remove the paneling and restring that bitch?

Not hard to take a panel off at all...but really only with the door open is it easy. Takes me maybe 2 minutes per door panel to take them off.

Oh man, have fun with that. I know it is a bitch taking off side panels, I had to do that to fix the passenger side window (mirrors, mallets, and hand oil lubricating can, hooray!). My passenger side lock every now and again decides it doesn't like to unlock and I end up having to use a piece of bent metal to pull the lock up, and then it works fine again.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. After taking off the door panels to put in new speakers...now for some reason whenever I unlock my car...it may unlock...not guaranteed. And then once it's "unlocked" and I go to shut my door, it re locks itself...

Actually, it's not home made, it is something I used when installing my new floor boards a few years back that was just lying around and the right size and shape to fit in there and get the lock.

It stays in my glove box now.

Yeah just took mine off today, the sideview mirror broke on installation...I'm returning it tomorrow...

Well I went the easy route... Just lubed up the door a lot and bam opens like a dream. Of course now I gotta be carful not to brush up agianst any part of the locking mechanism but whatever.
