RIGHT ON!!!!!!!. Ford didnt take a bailout.Ive owned Fords for about my last 5 vehicles with no problems.I love their style.GM=Gov't motors and they sink like a rock!!! And most of all... FUCK THEY GAY ASS ASIAN CARS!!!! BUY AMERICAN and keep your fellow americans working.
If better cars were made here we wouldn't be buying Japanese cars. I have had cars from Dodge, Chevy and now Honda. My Honda has more miles than I put on both my other cars and about 1/4 of the problems. That and all my experiences with domestic dealers sucks.

how can it be the end? was it the end of ford when they have defected tires on the ford explorer and the tires started busting and turning over cars?

It happens to all makers. there's thousands of parts put in a car surely one will fail at one time. Will they have a buttload of suits against them? yes. Is it the end? no.

Common misconception. No mass produced vehicles is just better because of a brand. They are all the same if you take care of them they all last. If you dont they all break. Just so you know chevy and ford consistantly sell more vehicles than toyota year after year in the US.

I guess a faulty tire made by firestone is somehow fords fault? If thats your concern you'll be glad to know ford doesn't come with firestones any more.

Not every year, toyota beat GM the year they almost went bankrupt and has been doing consistently better since then, until all this recent media hype about a recall.

Your talking about 1 year since 1958. I think we can look at that as a fluke. As for the hype. It may just be a small portion but it is going to wreck their sales for years to come imo. Ford however was relatively unscathed with their tire ordeal.

In all seriousness this list is no joke. Vehicles going back to 2004 for an issue that was known and just glanced over thats just ridiculous.

    2005-2010 Avalon
    2007-2010 Camry
    2009-2010 Corolla
    2008-2010 Highlander
    2009-2010 Matrix
    2004-2010 Prius
    2009-2010 RAV4
    2008-2010 Sequoia
    2005-2010 Tacoma
    2007-2010 Tundra
    2009-2010 VENZA
    Lexus
    2006 - 2010 IS 250
    2006 - 2010 IS 350
    2007 - 2010 ES 350
    2010 HS 250h

So what are we at now 8 million cars recalled? Every manufactor has it's issues without a doubt but few are life threatening. Those that are usually are addressed as soon as possible not just placed in a file and forgotten until it blows up in your face.

    Re: End of Toyota?

Toyota - Had it for 10 years, took it into the dealership once to fix a window that refused to roll up.

Ford - Had for 5 years, almost completely broken. Had to take it into fix the transmission, door locks, cooling/heating, and carburetor.

Not to mention that most Toyotas are made in the US, so we are still supporting domestic economy. I know for sure no one in my family will ever by Ford/GM/Chrysler again.
