Re: End of Toyota?
how can it be the end? was it the end of ford when they have defected tires on the ford explorer and the tires started busting and turning over cars?
It happens to all makers. there's thousands of parts put in a car surely one will fail at one time. Will they have a buttload of suits against them? yes. Is it the end? no.

So what are we at now 8 million cars recalled? Every manufactor has it's issues without a doubt but few are life threatening. Those that are usually are addressed as soon as possible not just placed in a file and forgotten until it blows up in your face.

Re: End of Toyota?
Toyota - Had it for 10 years, took it into the dealership once to fix a window that refused to roll up.
Ford - Had for 5 years, almost completely broken. Had to take it into fix the transmission, door locks, cooling/heating, and carburetor.
Not to mention that most Toyotas are made in the US, so we are still supporting domestic economy. I know for sure no one in my family will ever by Ford/GM/Chrysler again.
