seriously, i've been getting charged for a movie I ALREADY FUCKING RETURNED almost a week ago, and on top of that probably going to get charged even more because they'll end up making me buy a movie i don't even have in my possession (thus buying absolutely fucking nothing), that i saw sitting on the freaking shelf tonight when i was there. but apparently they are too stupid to A) actually properly manage their own shit and B) realize its already there.

GAHHHH i'm just pissed to be getting bogus ass charges that i shouldn't be getting. and i'm talking at least a solid $7-8 solely due to their crappy product control.

I worked for Blockbuster for 2 1/2 years around the time they did the "no late fees" thing, then i found a different job. What probably happened was that it got overlooked or some noob employee was going down a stack of returns and didn't scan it. You said you saw it on the shelf. What we did if we found a movie on the sales floor that wasn't checked in is take any charge off that may have happened.

this is, of course, a few years ago and computer systems may have changed. Recently I rented 2 games, had it out 5 days later, they charged $129 to my credit card. Took a few days to come off, but it did. I still use Redbox for my movie rentals though. DVDONME, BREAKROOM, and DVDATWAG(only at walgreens locations) each get you a free day at a redbox location. Enjoy!

Don't fret, Blockbusters are going out of business everywhere. We'll see how long the remaining stores last. If Redbox rented games, they might put Blockbuster out of business permanently.

the only new thing about their system is a fancy 15" lcd flat screen monitor. The rest is straight from the 80's.

well... east coast stores might have windows 98... two or three might have windows XP...
