I hear a *pop-Hiss* come from somewhere in the engine, 2 seconds later coolant scented steam come pouring into the cabin.

for those of you who thought, i hope its just the hose, thanks for the kind wishes, but alas, heating core.

What do you drive? Might be able to just go to a pick and pull and replace it if the vehicle is old enough.

volvo s70 1999

access to the core is via the dash, my buddy and i are gonna replace it (he owes me a favor) so its not too bad, but till i get in there its undriveable.

we may bypass or we may replace, depends on what we can find for cheep.
