Juicing for grades

So, I just watched a 60 minutes report on college students and professionals who take drugs like Ritalin and Adderol (normally prescribed for ADD) to boost their mental capabilities in school.

It's interesting to me, as my psychiatrist has me on a 5 drug cocktail partly to treat my schizophrenia and partly to boost me mentally.

What are peoples' thoughts on this? Is it ethical on the part of doctors and students? Should it continue to be an acceptable practice?

I remember taking the ACT & SAT tests when people would go hit up someone who was on ritalin for some of their meds.

Apparently it helps "normal" people become extremely focused.

I tried one of those for 5 months once and it made no difference to me.

ritlin never did nothin for me but giv me hives i was alergic

I'm fine with people taking Ritalin to make them super focused for tests....as long as I can have a cheat sheet to even the playing field.

People buy adderol off each other all the time in college for these 12 hour studyfests the night before an exam. They don't sleep, just study. It's extremely bad for you, and pretty messed up imo.
