Thats what I am hearing, I am thinking about dropping AT&T when my contract is up and changing to them.

I'm ready to break my android phone. So damn buggy. My friend at work has an iphone and speed/stabilty it spanks mine.

If you want to pay a king's ransom, you can get an unsubsedized Google Nexus One for $530 that will work on AT&T's network. Just gotta slap your SIM card in and you're good to go.

Part of the delay in Android hitting AT&T's network is their deal with Apple. The exclusivity contract they signed on the iPhone expires this summer. That is why there are no Android phones for AT&T. This is why you'll see Android finally hit AT&T this summer and why the iPhone is rumored to hit Verizon as well.

I'm with Verizon and absolutely LOVE my Droid.

again though, we get like 2 or 3% off the list price on stuff cause my family belongs to the CWA union, which ATT recognizes and verizon doesnt.

Summer eh? Hmmm....I suppose I can wait. Im not due for an upgrade till like next march

I get a gub'ment rate on my Verizon service as well as 25% off all accessories. Of course that STILL ends up being more expensive than going with eBay and getting the accessories directly from the distributors in China.

I will never again buy an accessory from Verizon unless it's an emergency.

I'm waiting for the HTC EVO. Going to be one bad unit. 4.3 screen, 8mp camera - 2 cameras on device... Going to run 4G, which we have in our area. Here's a link:

By the way, I'm currrently using the Palm Pre. The webOS works very nicely, but I'm not real crazy about the keyboard. Definetly is a learning curve to get used to the small buttons, but once you do, it works very well. The problem with webos is the lack of apps and Palms pending demise.

There are a few of these "Android" phones out there. Android is an OS for the devices. Motorola makes one, as to a few other companies. The Verizon Droid has gotten good reviews from what I gather.
