depends on the rules. are we talking fight to the death or until one backs down?

in a cage of pain deathmatch, it's the bear. too much weight vs the other two, and the tigers real advantage (being a quadreped), is of no advantage close up... even a hindrance. and niether has anywhere to run or the option to.

if it's a simple encounter over some food, i give it to the tiger. bears aren't used to fighting for food, their natural prey are significantly less dangerous than prey of big cats who often have to chase it down and maul it into submission. fight experience goes to the cat. the bear probably gets mad first, then confused because the cat ain't goin' nowhere, and then backs down after a few painful swats to the face.

the silverback is doomed either way unless he's equipped with a bowie knife... and that assumes he's even smart enough to use it.

Silverback Gorilla has my vote. Bengal Tigers may be ferocious, but they are no where near as strong, as smart, and don't have the stamina of a Gorilla. The Tiger would have to hope for a quick grasp on the Gorilla's throat and hope he can hang on long enough before the Gorilla snaps his jaw off. Kodiaks are burst machines, throwing all their energy into one big charge to pummel their targets, and they run out of steam.....quick. The Gorilla could simply move aside and come down on the Bear's back, snapping it like a twig. Either that or the Gorilla would simply out last the Bear, and make it run off or beat it down when its tired.

Silverback Gorilla - strength, intelligence, stamina
Kodiak Brown Bear - strength, size
Bengal Tiger - speed

I'd take intelligence and stamina over speed or brawn to win any day. Silverback wins...

Gorilla wins by suplex or guillotine choke!

Tiger: lots of natural weapons. Not enough to take down a Kodiak Grizzly. 2 tigers? yeah maybe. But they are solitary hunters.

Silverback: Big brains, no natural weapons. A downward smash would seriously give second thoughts to any opponent. Depending on how smart and agile the silverback is he could win.

Kodiak: Largest, good claws and teeth, accompanied by a terrible smell. This is defiantly the tank of the three. Slow but in for the long haul. The worst thing that could happen is the tiger/silverback jumps on the back of the bear at that point the bear rolls over on them.
