whats worse is the cost to "ready" house each of these missles yearly.
not to mention payload updates as technology improves.
In the 80's they were up to six war heads per missle, im sure the amout of missles lessens but the amout of warheads is close to the same.

He did show me, however, fake missiles. He pointed out which are which and whatnot, the largest being a D-something missile. Said they carry something like 24 of those (don't remember the exact number...).
Wiki says it (the missile) carries up to 8000km of nuclear warheads.
