Thread: San Antonio Meetup PART DEUX!

Let's get this rolling. Lets toss out ideas for places to meet, times to meet, dates, etc.

I will post up some place in a few, headin' to the Ice House real quick. I will PM this to everyone on the San Antonio list so they don't miss it after I get back as well.

You could also contact the guys in San Marcos, I'm sure they wouldn't mind coming down here if they had time, they're fairly close to us as well.

Per flames suggestion, I think that a northeastern part of SA would be the best to choose a meeting location from for the people who would be coming from the Austin/San Marcos directions (but don't let that discourage you from making suggestions outside of the NE area of town).

My Suggestions:

La Fiesta Patio (Universal City, Pat Booker Rd.)
Chesters Burgers (Universal City, Pat Booker Rd.)
Rudys (I-35 just north of The Forum)
Sams Burger Joint (Just south of Alamo Heights on Broadway, last years location)
Sea Island (The Forum)
Red Robins (The Forum)
Ghengis Grill (The Forum)
Mo Maks Burgers (Jones Maltsburger Rd.)
Mamas Cafe (I-35 and 1604)


Not really an exciting list, left what I thought were the best suggestion of my own near the top there.

Chesters has some great burgers. Haven't been there in a good while.

I have finals the rest of this week so after this I should be fine with anything after say 5pm for the most part. I should be out of work by then and I don't think I'll be working weekends at all unless something changes.

I might have plans though with some friends from school sometime this week or next. I'll ask them about it some more tomorrow to see what we have planned.

A really good Mexican place, and it has a lot of room (Chesters can get cramped even with just a family of 4) to meet either indoors or out on the "veranda" is La Hacienda de los Barrios.
