there was no reason for these stupid fucks to shoot the dog some fucking trigger happy asshole shoots the dog right away they coulda used a tazer or pepper spray if it attacked fuckin assholes

watched this twice never noticed a dog getting shot however. that is standard procedure when swat goes in. You kill the dogs... right or wrong. it wasn't some trigger happy cop it was a cop following protocol.

Makes me ill personally. But the officer was doing his job.

i think its bull shit. I hate the way they server these warrants. innocent until proven guilty! Drug dealer or not they deserve to be treated with respect. And if standard protocol is to shoot dogs then be prepared for me to shoot you breaking into my house. Warrant or not, knocking and then breaking a door down 10 seconds later is bull shit.

Drugs or not, I 100% do not agree with the way they serve these warrants. Sending in swat with guns drawn, what prompts this? Probably walking up to the door with an officer and knocking and waiting for the door to open would have worked. We are still in america, the man still has rights, regardless of evidence.

You come into my house after dark with out waiting for me to come to the door and presenting me with a warrant I will shoot.

Why was this done at night with kids?

Guy was smart, lawyer up immediately. Then sue for damages, when the mistake comes out. The vid says he had a pipe and some residual. Probably not even enough for a conviction.

What threat is there from a dog in a cage, exactly?

well i dont think they are swat just narcotics officers but protocol is fucked to shoot the dogs they were not gaurd dogs they were family pets most likely the little kids best friend and to shoot a defenseless dog cause its protocol is no excuse look at the thick body armor they are sporting the dog was no threat to them

It is a SWAT team. But they don't wear body armor on their legs, just leather boots, so a dog can do damage down there.

yes but dogs cause distractions giving people time to pull guns and open fire (in this case the animal was caged should not have been an issue) we don't know that dog was the kids best friend or if the kid hated the dog, don't bring emotional tangents into this.

the bottom line is it is the scum bags fault that his dog died and his family had to be busted in on in the dead of night , not the officers. it is not like cops randomly pick targets and go hey let's go destroy these peoples night.

Again I think it sucks that dogs get shot in these situations but that's the way it is.
