Im looking for a job, im tired of sitting around at home not doing anything that i like to do (aside playing with you guys). Below is some info about me im find disclosing with you guys, please don't go spreading it around outside of the site w/o my permission.
- 16 years old
- sophomore in High School (Howell Cheney Technical High School of CT)
- major is CADD (prefer Mechanical drawings in 3D, can do it on 2D. No architectural skills)
- Like to make custom computers (Not perfect on software issues or great at troubleshooting. Only know from experience, but i do know how to make a great computer)
- Know a good amount of airsoft (guns, gear boxes, upgrades, etc...)
- Boy Scout (Know a lot about camping, im a go-to guy for it)
- Love shotgun shooting and shooting sports (Worked as a C.I.T at my summer camp at the shotgun range and have all shooting sports meritbadges. Working on NRA certification)
- Like electronic stuff (I can find something your looking for)
If you got any job ideas let me know. I might say that i already looked there and got no openings, i'm not saying i didnt try yet and i dont like that idea. If you have any openings in the Hartford county of Connecticut let me know.

At your age you would be lucky to get something specialized, however look at internships for design studios, they always need CADD lackies. Aside from that your 16, look at any basic retailer, go to the mall, etc.. Are you in with the local air soft community? is there a storefront you could work at?
good luck

My friend was going to open up an airsoft store where i live, but he decided to try out for the Border Patrol instead. I am thinking of opening up a store when i get the money and a college degree. Almost every basic retailer in CT wont hire me. The only places i found that are open is Babies R us, and i would not do so great there. I am looking at some internships at design studios, just need to find out where to start.

If you are just looking for a job not specifically suited to stick on your resume', I'd recommend working as some sort of server at a restaurant. You may have to be 18 to do that at most of them, but it wouldn't hurt to see. When I Was 16 I worked at a sonic, carhopping. I made minimum wage plus tips. During summers I would work 30 hours per week, get my $300 bi-weekly paycheck and another $600 in tip for the 2 weeks. Not bad for a 16 year old....especially since it's cash.
