Pros:
Free health care
Population is lower and more spread out*
We get 4 beautiful seasons here
We can buy milk in cartons too
Cons:
Celine dion

Higher prices on almost EVERYTHING
High taxes (I am non educated in US taxes btw)
* Less spread out seems to = less violent crime.
* Less spread out also seems to limit friends "popping" over (I grew up in my teens in France and the "social" aspect from there is allot different to here)

Things are more expensive, but minimum wage is like CAD $10+ which definitely helps. Although the house prices are a bit over the top. My friend's tiny little duplex like house thing in one of the developments is like $300,000... that would fetch like 125 or less in a comparable area in the states
