Thread: just bored pondering

So it is my bosses birthday today and we were talking about what hour we were born and it got me thinking.


Technically If you were born at 12:30 in EST time zone and moved to MTN time zone and it was 10:30 at night before your 21st birthday you would be 21. I wonder if anyone has ever argued this at a bar. I suppose you would have to have your birth certificate as proof in what hour you were born but the logic is sound.

ummm...and your point? Because my license doesn't state what time i was born..and a long time ago when i turned 21 i think the bartender was just interested that May 23rd was the actual day i was born. I would've been ok though...I was born in the weeeee hours of the morning though...so technically I was asleep when I "turned" 21.

I am just wondering if anyone has actually tried to debate it.

I've seen many bars turn away the 20 year olds who are waiting until midnight until they are legal. Those groups are usually abnoxious from the start and they tend to overdue it, naturally...

Haha, yea....

In my much much younger days we got really hammered one night off of some RumpleMinze (peppermint schnapps). I don't know if it was just the alcohol or the fun atmosphere that night, probably both, but we tried some Rumpleminze with some milk and it was pretty darn good.
