So what is it guys?

We all know Apple and the iPhone basically created the premis of the "smart phone" but kind of like before...they're idea was just to "i" and not enough "we"....and google steps in, with android...and BOOM...

So what is it? What to you carry? Why? Ready GO!

I think for the most part they are all interchangeable. What makes one "better" than the other is what all your contacts have, so it is easier to share/do things together.

I was trying to hold out as long as possible because fuck how long do we need to have our faces glued to a LCD screen? Can we not just wait until we get home?

Well we got a free iphone so it would have been foolish to pass it up. Now we have one but have not gone ap crazy thank god!

I use the basic apps such as bing, facebook, and fox news.

Come december I will be looking into the new win7 phone.

The iPhone may not be the best, but for me it's the unity of everything. Yes I can use google based email / calendar / etc with droid, but my iPhone syncs my contacts, calendar, etc thanks to mobile me, so it's just the extra convenience. Not to mention it has one of the better audio solutions, and I listen to a lot of music on it. (Oh and find my iphone / remote wipe is pretty nifty too)

Tough decisions, do I spend $100 on the 3GS, or pony up the extra hundred for the 4?

That's not even a question.

With the new phone you'll get all the upgrades hardware.

I'm pretty much stuck with apple for awhile. Though I'm not truely upset about it. I'm invested with the apps. If I buy another phone I'll have to buy apps all over again it is kind of wasted money.

The screen on the new iphone is the best by far of any smartphone out there. No question about it. Being locked into Steve Jobs' "I CONTROL EVERY APP" marketplace? The worst smartphone experience. No question about it. Plus the new iphone is going to be pushing ads to people. Definite turn-off there.

Based on sheer hardware... the iphone 4G has it.

Based on all around experience... Evo 4G wins hands down.

Me? I have an Incredible. I've had windows phones, I've had iphones, and I've had android phones... And Android is here to stay.

I like the Droid, mainly because we can get a discount through my wife's place of work to buy them.

We still haven't gotten around to buying them yet. That's one item on our giant "to do" list.

Civil, definitely spend the extra $100 for the iPhone 4. The increased speed, extra 8 gigs of memory, and the way better camera are much worth it.

You think the screen on the iPhone 4 is better than the evo? The pixalation is a little higher, but the screen on the EVO is a half inch bigger. I have an EVO, and Im telling you...the screen is god like...
