Rock thats not really an overreaction... Getting a character to a really high lvl and getting the best gear takes forever... Sure its a terrible idea to trash your comp but it less illegal then trashing your ladyfriend who deleted all your shit.

Not anymore it doesn't, gearing up is outstandingly easy these days.
The girlfriend really pulled a complete bitch move, if she was getting tired of his addiction, she should've either dumped him, or threatened to. Going in and deleting all his toons and such, making all his time, effort, etc, wasted was a completely assanine move, that isn't something you do to a person regardless of the situation.
That said however the guy seriously did overreact for two reasons; One being the aforementioned ease of the game these days, the second being all he would have to do to get all his shit back would be to open a ticket, explain the situation, maybe put in a few calls to Blizzard. All his shit would've been restored in less then a week no sweat. Instead he more then likely has to pull out some cash to replace the things he broke, the damage he did, et cetera.

I aint mad at her...obviously it went to extremes. People need to learn to balance gaming and real life. I hope she is ok...judging by his intense over reaction, if he found out it was her, she may be severely injured or dead by now...
This dude is a piece of shit waste of life....but hey....thats what WoW does to ya....

oh my god... I mean... OH MY GOD! I spent nearly 4 years playing EQ... another year playing WoW... And I would probably react similarly (I've lost many keyboards and mice in my younger days to Bad Things(tm) like that. Luckily I've learned to mellow out while gaming. It's not worth getting worked up over. And there would need to be much counseling after that.
