Anyone else see it this weekend. I really enjoyed it they payed a lot homage to the original while being new and fresh. It was an over all good sifi thriller. What everyone else think?

I am pretty excited about this movie. It's got a good cast, and I believe they can actually pull off a good movie.

It was... okay. Not really much in the way to charactor development and alot of action. They did have a lot of homage and some pretty good one liners but just like grind house aways does, explotions, guns, and spinal columns being pulled out does not a great movie make. Better then predator 2 and the AVP flops but not better than the orginal. For hardcore fans it's a buy, for the general population it's a rent.

Personally, I would have liked to see a little back story on the people. The movie really does just drop you into the middle of the story, that and the doctor scene didn't really make add up.

The one thing I have to say about it is I never though I would here predators reffered to as the little ones.

I don't agree with back story for cast. I don't feel like would made an impact to know anymore than what was told about them. I'd agree the doctor plot really had no point nor did the containers that drop or the "thing" that was in them seem to have no point other than a quick scare factor for a single scene in the movie. I think over all I still love the original more, but this is a worthy addition to the franchise. Oh and I love the end credit music lol!

This new Predators movie doesn't look like it can disappoint people because of the actors in it and because those goddamn Aliens won't be around to fuck everything up haha
