When you just woke up from a long night of flying...
And your supervisor is trying to get you to come in on your day off to cover for him. He says he was suppose to be on vaction this week, which is the first I heard of it, and then tries to use his child to make you feel guilty. With me being gone for about a week I had a few things to do first and told him that I couldn't be in at 1pm like he wanted but I could make it around 2pm. He decides that isn't going to work for him and will try someone else again with the comment that he doesn't know what he will do at this point and that he hasn't been able to contact anyone else up to this point. WTF?! I specifically notified him months ago that I needed this time off and reminded him a week and then days ahead. Wouldn't you think to have planned for people to cover your shift if you planned to be off today!? And what's worse is that he pulls this crap all the time. He'll plan to take some time off but won't tell a soul until the day before and yet the lab director always approves it. WTFFFSBBQ!!! /rant

It's the whole professional honest personality in me I guess. Well it's 2:38pm now and I have not heard back so F-it. Let him try to pull some crap on me tomorrow (if he is even in).
