You see a spider that....

.....is seemingly floating in the air and it starts inching towards you like a damn flying ninja. You try to back up, but he just matches your speed and starts to close the gap.

You then realize his web must be attached to you somewhere and all efforts to escape are futile...

hehehe, I'd like to see you smash some of the spiders around here with your bare hands. I have a black widow that needs to be taken care of, I just keep him around because I feed him - he's starting to put a dent in my wallet.

What are you feeding him anyway? Crickets from the pet store? Not enough grasshoppers around to feed him with?

But yeah, unless it's a decent sized spider, you should have just batted the spider down with your hand and then stomped on him.
