Getting rid of my EVO

What is pulling you toward the Epic? From what I have read it seems the only major difference is the physical keyboard. The EVO has a larger screen, sunlight-resistance screen and better camera.

If it's to have something new then that's cool.

HTC is swapping out the AMOLED screens in both the EVO and the Incredible (and their other models) for normal LCD screens due to supply shortages of AMOLED screens. Newer EVOs and Incredibles are shipping with different screens, so that's not even a valid 'benefit' of any of HTC's phones anymore.

Ive had the Epic for a week now.....I friggin love this thing. You can't go wrong with an EVO, but having used both let me just say samsung wins big in these categories:

-Physical Keyboard...cmon...its lighter than the evo and STILL has the best Keyboard Ive ever used on a phone!?

-BATTERY LIFE...holy shit, I am not kidding when I say HOLY SHIT. Its unreal how good the battery is on this thing. I can use it alllll day and still have charge by bedtime.

-Amazing Screen....the EVO has an amazing screen too, but I still feel samsung's is more vivid and the colors more true.

-CAMERA.....again, wow. The camera quality on this thing is amazing and samsung gives you plenty of features making it feel like a true digital camera. Kraker, you will see what Im talking about when you get yours. It doesnt matter that this is 5 mp vs the Evo's 8mp...the quality is just better.

-and finally...SWIPE.....The swipe feature is hands down the coolest and fastest way to type or text. Its literally unreal how cool this feature is once you get good at using it.

oh...and dont forget about the 16 gigs of hard drive space built in with another micro SD slot.....32 gigs FTW

Exactly!

Megapixles do not determain pic quality. The camera on the epic is a better camera. Also, the reason the colors are so much better is I belive its 32 thousand colors on the EVO, vs 16 million colors on the Epic (amoled ftw)

The processesor is the same speed (1gig) but is a better processer (fuck qualcomm)

This phone really wins in all categories, I was just happy i got 400 on my evo...cant wait to get my new EPICS....
