Meh...I see why they pulled it but have mixed feelings on whether or not it was necessary.

The dad in me who has 2 daughters totally gets it and wouldn't like my daughter trying to emulate that get-up.

Young girls are damn impressionable and their idea of what "pretty" is is greatly impacted by the media they ingest - which yes, parents control and should monitor - but Katy Perry's nearly-nipple-showing-top doesn't fit the Sesame Street archetype.
