Re: The Dark Knight Rises
As stated, you will love it or hate it.
To me, the minor flaws of the movie were not overlookable. I thought that many things in the movie were pretty predictable personally. And no, I disagree. Everyone says the movie had the twist at the end. I felt like the twist and the movie was definitely not better than The Dark Knight, The Prestige or Inception.
You cannot even compare Tom Hardy, Bane, to Heath Ledger's amazing performance as the Joker. Half the time I couldn't understand Hardy, Bane.

I will just wait for it to hit Amazon or the such since I don't particularly feel like getting shot at in the theater. 12 dead and many injured at a theater in Colorado. Sad, very sad...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
You can't really compare the two in that sense though. TDK was about the Joker it was about his methods. TDKR isn't about Bane, Bane's plan, or how he did what he did. It was about the people rising up. It was about the struggle through the chaos while TDK was about the chaos itself.
With that said, the movie did have a couple of predictable points if you know batman lore or if you were looking for it.
On a side note, take that Avengers! Estimated 30+ million for midnight showings alone shatters the 18 million record that Avengers held for midnight screenings. This movie is gunna be huge.

I thought it was the best of the three. There was so much suspense, I just didn't see how they were going to wrap it all up. There was just so much going wrong at one time, it was unbelievable. Acting was great across the board, and Catwoman was friggin sexy as hell!

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I saw it today and thought it couldn't have ended any better. Tons of suspense and both the acting and soundtrack were great. Must admit i was kind of sad to see it since it would more than likely be the end to a great series, but this would be a good note to end on.

So hardcore I think my balls rescinded back into my abdomen. Tom Hardy killed it as Bane, Hathaway did an awesome job (though she had less than nothing to do with cats, which i'm ok with
) and Gordon, Lucius, and MyCocaine all were fantastic as well, though the latter made the emotional portions that much better.
...not gonna lie though, got pretty nervous during each gunfight...had my feet planted ready to book it out of the theater. I was watching every single person in the theatre that came and wentMr_Blonde_OPS liked this post
