Re: NFL Week 9 Pick Em
Absolutely. You said it yourself, the receivers are expendable. The same goes for New Orleans. Both of our offenses are pass heavy, but still need solid backs to keep things moving, so our RB injuries are similar in effect, although I would argue that the screen game of bush and thomas makes them slightly more valuable to our offense than Addai and Hart to yours.
Where we differ is this, while both teams have tons of injuries to the secondary, only one relies on the secondary as the cornerstone of their defense. I'm under the impression that the strong part of your defense is still in tact with your beastly Defensive Ends and some pretty good linebacking. Whereas with the Saints, the corner stone of that defense, is the secondary. Really and truly injuries always hurt, but I would argue that the Saints' secondary injuries, hurt their defense a bit moreso than Indy's secondary injuries.
I know I sound like a homer, but it's obvious the impact that Bush and Thomas have on our offense. Watch then they both get healthy, the offensive production will go up and Brees will have better numbers as far as the deep passing game is concerned.

Ha, apparently their first string receivers would have been able to catch that pass 15 feet in the air overthrown
And not just to spite you kraker, but wtf was with that roughing the passer (unnecessary roughness?) call when that guy was going for the ball and practically patted Manning on the helmet? I know it's a rule, but damn, 15 yards for that shit?
