We got about a foot in Madison and I'm so happy. Not that I like snow that much, but if it is going to be bitterly cold it might as well be pretty...

EDIT: Of course I may be less happy now that I need to go out and scrape the car to do errands

Snow makes it feel more like Christmas.

We got about 6" in the Cities last evening. Nice fluffy stuff, so everything looks....blanketed. Driveway is blown out, sidewalk and steps have been shoveled, and the nice bright sunshine is taking care of the rest. It really is pretty.

We had more snow today, but again nothing stuck. Fucking knoxville, cold as shit but never any good snows.

I love AZ. Just a short 2 hour trip into pine country and we get to shred some snow on the mountains without having to deal with it everyday of the season...

I could probably handle Az. for about a month in the Winter....I would miss ice fishing,snowmobiling,and most especially my snowblower (I love firing it up.....raw horsepower, I know....I'm weird). It's the Summer that would kill me. I have some relatives in Flagstaff and Phoenix, and we visited them when I was a kid.....in August. Holy Effing Hannah does it just get relentlessly hot there......The oppressive Summer heat really isn't much different than the oppressive cold here...either way, you spend a lot of time indoors.

We have had snow on the ground here since Thanksgiving. Between more snow and existing snow melting, it has been about 5 inches deep since then.

Actually we just take off our clothes and procreate....then go swimming. =P
