Re: Snow!!
15.6" at MSP (the airport) as of 5p.m. Having some fun Duddy?
Arreo....talked to the rents today?
My poor mutt searched all day for her ball ( it's ~8"....kitten ball sized), but never found it....she won't be making detective this year. I looked for about an hour....never found it either.
I got somewhere between 15-18" at the Dex compound (just North of Downtown Mpls. by 10 miles or so), but it's hard to tell because of the ridiculous drifting going on. The plow furl at the bottom of the driveway was a solid 2.5'......It was a celebration of man and cylinder with the chorus of the internal combustion engine playing a carbon foot stomp like it was a drunken barn dance.

Re: Snow!!
Yeah, my parents say they have 16" on the ground today and it is still falling at a rate of a little under an inch an hour...
Here in Madison we're just starting to get socked by the same storm. It's 34 degrees and sleeting for most of the afternoon, but by tomorrow midday it is supposed to be in the single digits or lower. There is going to be an absolute nightmare of ice on the roads.

Re: Snow!!
Only bad part about the snow today was that I couldnt go out skiing. White fluffy snow aka powder like we have is THE best snow to go skiing in. But by the time I helped get the driveway cleaned off and dig out another buddy, the slopes were closed and they are grooming teh slopes tonight, bastards. But ya Dex, I had a lot of fun today, I love the snow. Theres 2 snow drifts in our backyard that look cars right now, mine and my dads, and the blowing snow is starting to remind me of winter in Fargo. At the end of it I would say 16 inches is a safe estimate for how much we got in South St. Paul, but wont be surprised if its some where around 20 when all the reports come in.
