Re: BCS Bowl Thread
They are a good team and well coached, but to say that are among the elite is a stretch. There just isn't enough information/proof to decide one way or the other. Could they be top 2-3 year in and year out in the PAC or SEC? Can't really be sure, but if I had to pick, I'd say no.

Re: BCS Bowl Thread
All i can say is TCU put up a pretty good fight.... good solid defense they have.
Yes Wisconsins only good defensive back is Valai, they lost their best defensive back Borland about the 3rd week in. WI had 50+ pounds and I think 2-3+ inchs average compared to TCU's defensive front. If WI had kept running the ball, down after down after down they would have shut that defense completely down, like they had done to every other team this year. But for some reason, and I still can't figure it out is why the hell they gave up on the run so quickly in the 2nd and 3rd qtr. Pass on first and second down then try to make the first with a run.... cmon, that is NOT WI football. The other thing that pissed me off the most is why the HELL John Clay wasn't in for more of those running plays. Everytime he came in he crushed through the TCU defense. John Clay had 11 rushes for 76 yards. Thats pretty damn impressive. Monte Ball, had 22 for 126 yards. They were starting to control Monte Ball, shut him down, they didn't shut Clay down at all and for some reason they chose not to put Clay in for more plays.
John Clay crushes TCU's defense in the 4th in the closing minutes, taking them all the way down the field, then they try to pass it on the 2pt. conversion. Sure the receiver was wide open in the end zone.... but if you had that good of success with Clay rushing why would you go away from it?
TCU put up a hell of a fight, their damn good I'll give em that. Was one hell of a good game.
