Every once in a while I'll eat some grits. When I do I like 'em thick with pepper jack cheese.

Yep....I think the drunk-fest is a National tradition....and possibly Global....but it's tough to tell with the Canadians and the Irish, as every day is like New Years.

And with that, up here, it's the crock-pot and finger-foods by day ( this is when the old Scandahoovians and Norwegians bring out their lutefisk...which is on a whole 'nother level of ick..). For those who have never had it....consider yourselves lucky.
