Thread: Progressive Rock

Maybe I'm the only one here that likes prog.rock and in some cases called (kraut rock) but it's a much under appreciated genre and there's not a thread for it so here goes.









Well there's a start hope someone else enjoys as much as I do.

I'm more into the 'classic' Progressive Rock (Yes, ELP, King Crimson, early Genesis), as well as some of the newer stuff (Marillion, Spocks' Beard, The Flower Kings, Kaipa, Echolyn, Magenta, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, etc).

Most of what I posted is classic prog. just not played on commercial radio. Almost all the songs are from late 60s to mid 70s.

Tool while a good song not what I'd call prog.rock but PT would fit I've collected a number of their songs.

Well... not quite the same as yours, but progressive none the less.

Space cowboy I'll give you Mastodon but C&C and RX..............uh no. Their progressive bands just not in the classical sense of prog. rock.
