Droid X

I know that me and my brother are getting Droid X for Christmas (cause I got them) I looked around and seems like my top pick. Anyone have or had one, what should I expect. Do you like yours? etc.

yeah, got the garden-variety-almost-a-year-old-and-apparently-obsolete Droid too.

Lovin' it....especially the GPS, use it all the time and I have a Nav system in my Caddy.

Droid X is amazing. Of course, I upgraded from the most standard Sprint flip, so all the new gizmos and gadgets and tech on the Droid X was like upgrading an atari to a PS3.

I've already used the GPS to get to Charlotte (and local places as well), and it put me right on top of my friend's apartment. The different apps you can get are great (and a great deal of them free). 24GB standard memory (including the SD card, of course). I have mine synced to my facebook, so any info my friend's upload (email, phone #, etc.) automatically updates their profile in my contact info. And that's just for starters. Such an epic phone.

Tapatalk is probably one of the most worth while pay apps out there (If you like to browse TPG on the go). Hands down. It allows for much faster loading of the site, and you get to see and do just about everything through tapatalk as you would in the regular site. Though, looking at pictures is rather difficult if not impossible. The UI (user interface) is actually rather intuitive and very helpful. I HIGHLY recommend buying and installing it. Worth every penny.

Put it this way, any high admin who has an android phone has Tapatalk. Its just that damn awesome.
